Welcome to the Smart Start Learning Academy summer camp program!
Come spend your Summer with us!
Our summer program was designed to carry children ages 5-12 through a summer of fun by connecting with nature in a tablet-free zone. Children will have an adventurous and nature-centered experience here, where they can play, learn and grow in an all-outdoor environment.
Fostering daily interactions to build friendships while connecting with nature will help them learn important life skills and build memories for years to come. Our goal is to encourage creativity and real growth through hands-on activities and outdoor play.

FAQ
Daily Camp Schedule
7:30am-9:00am
Drop Off: Drop off is between 7:30 and 9:00, campers will put their things in their designated spots and go to the playground via the side gate.
9:00am-9:30
Snack/Morning Meeting: Campers will enjoy their morning snack while their councilors talk about what the day will look like, what projects and activities are planned for the day, games they will be participating in and a general overview of the day to come.
10:00am-10:30am
Garden Time: The campers will have the opportunity to create their own garden for the summer. They will water their plants, weed the garden and explore new things growing daily.
10:30am-12:00pm
Weekly Theme Crafts and Games: Games and crafts will be based on the weekly theme of camp. Example; week one is “Mad Science”, campers will create neat experiments and base their week around science related things.
12:00pm-1:00pm
Lunch/Chill Out Zone: Campers will take a break from their busy morning to have lunch and wind down before starting their afternoon shenanigans. They will have the opportunity to color, read a book or do another laid-back activity.
1:00pm-2:30pm
Water Play: Water activities will be available all summer long (weather permitting) every afternoon. Campers will have the choices of the mega slip-n-slide, water balloon tossing, sponge tossing and the water sprinkler.
2:30pm-3:00pm
Games: Afternoon games will consist of games such as soccer, softball, kickball, tag, and playground time.
3:00pm-3:30pm
Snack: Campers will wind down with their afternoon snack.
3:30pm-5:00pm
Pick-up/Free-Play: Parents will begin to pick up their children in the designated camp area while kids enjoy some free time which consists of games, coloring, reading, and crafts.
Other
- Shelter: The campers will be using a large outdoor tent for shelter for the summer. This is where they will keep their things, eat their lunches and snacks, play games, do arts and crafts etc.
- Bathroom Breaks: Campers will have any opportunity to use the bathroom when needed. They will use the “buddy system” and go inside the building to use the restroom when required.
- Field Trip Day’s: The drop-off and pick up schedule will be followed on field trip days. Unless campers are required to get here earlier than 9:00, drop off will be at the designated drop-off location.
- Electronics: There will be no electronics at summer camp. No exceptions.
